Ex-punk (Refused) musician David Sandström travels back to the roots of his own family. He also searches for a new home on the countryside. An old house for a new life and for new music. During his search he crosses the paths of generations that traveled opposite ways. The lyrics of Sara Lidman and the photographs of Sune Jonsson accompany David on his journey. A film about searching roots and identity with music by David Sandström.
